I did a lot of research; I checked out many bins at many famous and semi-famous gardening websites. This does work. Buy it (but first search for best deal). Everything advertised is valid: there are multiple ways to access composted material; there are multiple ways to set up top lid for easy access; there are plenty of vents to insure oxygen content; even the multiple instructions regarding best composting suggestions are very good. The bin is made from re-cycled plastic (I like that especially). The directions that come (in 4 languages, minimum) are egregiously written in any language! The images that come with directions are so small as to be useless. There were even parts (the corner caps) that weren't even mentioned in the assembly instructions. HOWEVER, it is clear, simply from examining the parts, what goes where. At first assembly, the corners weren't squared and I thought... uh, oh, cheesy. However (and this is important), after a couple of hours of just sitting, assembled, all the parts just settled into each other. And, after 4 hours, the bin opens and closes (all entries) easily] and we're composting here without a mess that the neighbors might complain of. Much better than our previous chicken-wire composting "bin".

We had trouble assembly this product, as it is difficult to get the cheap plastic parts to fit into each other. Although it is priced well and looks good, there is really nothing special about this composter, as it is primarily four plastic walls with a lid (and no bottom).
In hindsight, I might have bought the barrel composter that you can roll to aerate the contents. The plastic composting tool they threw in to aerate it doesn't work that well, so you need a shovel to really get down deep and turn the mulch. Also, they said it came with a Composting guide, but it's just minimal instructions on a one-sheet flyer.
On a positive note, I like the fact that it comes with a little "starter mix." We like the side panels that come off on the bottom to access the mulch, and the bin definitely "cooks" the compost faster than just a pile, which we've had for 10 years. This bin is sturdy enough to keep the animals out. We are looking forward to seeing how quickly this bin works compared to our compost pile.

The only negative thing I would say is that the color online looks grey; the one delivered was green. I'm excited to get started composting instead of just throwing kitchen/table scraps in the garden.

I'm kind of picky about my compost bins since I've used alot of different kinds over the years. so I spent quite a long time looking at different models until I found this one. Very easy to put together, larger capacity, a wide opening at the top for easy turning, and a lid with hinges included makes this a very good value for the money. the openings on each side are a nice touch, although my criteria was that the bin be solid enough to pull the whole thing up to empty it out and/or move it if needed. There are nicer bins out there but they are quite a bit more expensive than this one. I compost year round, and hot compost so I need a compost bin that is large, solid, and easy to access.
