STC EasyGrow Black Master 8 x 12 Foot Greenhouse Kit

I like looking out onto the back yard and being able to see right through the clear panels of the greenhouse from the inside of my house.

Do not know as one of three cartons was delivered four days ago, asked by e-mail what the problem was, no response. Am contacting just greenhouses and will be sending the one carton back Monday to get my money back

[...]Not yet set up but looks easy to put together and looks great even in the box.This is going to be a beautiful greenhouse to start my home base hobby bizz, its gona let the maximum sunlight in for my sun loving cacti & succulents. I know i will enjoy this greenhouse for many yrs to come. Due to being in northern Michigan we will be doing some support modifications to the greenhouse for the bad weather we get here.

As we are expecting our first frost, I have placed 25-30 pots and hanging baskets of tropical plants on the sturdy racks. Some hanging baskets fit under and hung from the racks. There is still plenty of room for propagation and seed starting. I was amazed at the space in the 8x12 greenhouse; it has exceeded my expectations. I was able to dig up, pot and store many annuals in the greenhouse. This and saving the 10 tropical ferns I usually trash will save me lots of money. This greenhouse will pay for itself in no time!

[...]Construction: At first I was a bit concerned when I saw a 56 page manual and then discovered that some of the pages were missing due to some sets of pages being duplicated. However, my fears were quickly alleviated as the process to assemble is easy and can be done with one person in one day. The missing pages didn't slow me down at all as there are enough illustrations to show me exactly what was needed. As the instructions recommend, a steady pace over a weekend worked out extremely well. As others have also recommended, I would read the entire directions PRIOR to starting and in fact also as others have recommended, sort the hardware and parts out first. I sorted by part number as opposed to what was needed for each step leaving the panels in the boxes until the very end. This makes it a much smoother work flow and I am sure will cut down the frustration for the 'I need to get this done NOW' type. All in all I assembled the unit without a hitch and only required assistance with one step - the trim on the roof edges I had my wife hold in place on the outside while I applied the nuts on the inside. Location: Not all will be the same, but we decided to use a deck instead of placing unit directly on the ground. For those who desire the same, the minimum size to build is 12' 6" x 8' 6". The extra 3 inches per side allow the entire frame to sit on the deck. Also, the inch or so that remains on the long sides allowed me to put hooks in to secure shade covers which keeps the overall footprint smaller as the securing ropes are not beyond the deck (a plus when mowing around the greenhouse).Features: I was a bit undecided about the automatic vent - all for naught. Works just as designed and is a big plus. The dual doors with one as being optional to open is also a nice plus - very helpful in controlling temp in the stages between needing the shade covers and not needing them.What I customized: The directions called for all the brackets to hold it down to be on the sides with none on the ends. As I put the unit on a deck I just used a large screw and washer and screwed the brackets to the deck and saved the ground stakes for another use. I did put them all on the sides, but after construction was done, I decided to drill two holes right through the frame on each end to hold the ends square. On the door end this helps a lot to keeping the doors aligned - one screw on either side of the door frame works great.Conclusion: We are very pleased with this unit and would not hesitate to purchase another one if we had the space for it. Just can't beat what you can grow yourself. Happy gardening!
